Biography of Bangladesh Chief Justice
The name of Honorable Chief Justice of Bangladesh is Mr. Md. Muzzammel Hossain. He was appointed as Chief Justice on May 18, 2011. In Bangladesh The Chief Justice is appointed by the President of the People's republic of Bangladesh.
He was born in a muslim family in Kisorganj on 17 January 1948. He Obtained M.A., LL.B. from the University of Dhaka, LL.M. from the
University of Sheffield, U.K. and Barrister-at-Law from the Hon`ble
Society of Lincoln`s Inn, London, UK. His Father's name is Late Alhaz Ahmed Hossain and Mother's name is Begum Asia Akhter Khatun. He is the 20th Chief Justice of Bangladesh. He will retire on January 16, 2015.
