Biography of Indian Chief Justice

Hon'ble Mr. Justice H.L. Dattu was appointed Indian 42th Chief Justice in 2014. He will retire on 2 December 2015. He was born in December, 3, 1950. He enrolled as advocate on 23/10/1975.

He practiced  for many years in several places like Bangalore in Civil, Criminal, Constitutional and taxation matter. He was Appointed as Judge of the Court if Karnataka on 18.12.1995 and also appointed as Chief Justice of the high Court of Chattisgarh on 12/02/2007. He Appointed as Judge, Supreme Court of India on 17/12/2008. And finally he was appointed as the Chief Justice of Indian on 28/09/2014.
