Bangladesh Ain o Salish Kendra, the legal aid and human rights organizations revealed the statistics of Domestic violence as abuse, Torture and murder of Women in their Six Month overview report of their e-bulletin issues.
The issue was published on july 01, 2014.

Law Degree at Dhaka University

University of Dhaka, Bangladesh offers Bachelors of Law, LLB a four years course.
Besides this it also have M.Phil and Ph.D degree. The faculty dean said that they  in addition to the basic classes  which are considered necessary to a legal education, they offer courses, seminars, and workshops which both reflect the professional interests of their students and also serve to enrich the learning experience. Their curriculum provides students with the educational preparation necessary for careers in traditional legal practice, the corporate world, clinical law, government and public service as well as other less traditional careers.
The dean of Law is Professor Dr. Taslima Monsoor and the Chairperson of the department of law is Professor Dr. Shahnaz Huda.
